ECHO is the major Greater Brandon area food pantry. We provide emergency food and clothing to over 10,000 Brandon area residents per year. Over 85% of those served are children.
When Life throws you a curve...depend on ECHO for a helping hand...Because it can happen to anyone.
Life doesn't always go our way. There are many unexpected twists and turn.
The Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO) is there to help. Our goal is to help each person or family in there time of need and to help foster personal independence regardless of race, sex, religion, or creed.
Clients are referred to ECHO by local churches, health and social services, schools, and related organizations.
ECHO is governed by a board of directors and staffed by volunteers. The primary source of support comes from the generosity of the community, including local civic organizations, churches, businesses and local agencies.
Help your community by Helping ECHO. There are three ways to provide support to ECHO: Donations of non-perishable goods, volunteering, monetary donations. Items that are needed the most are non-perishable foods, new childrens socks and undergarments, personal care items, small household items, blankets, towels, washcloths, diapers, and Carnation Good Start Formula. Volunteers are needed every day, with jobs suited for everyone in administration, filing food orders, sorting items, lifting/receiving items, and fundraising/event committees. Monetary donations are needed for building maintenance, telephone and utilities, for the purchase of new items including diapers, undergarments, and food... Every Cent Helps!
