About the Program: Provides emergency shelter for homeless families and single woman and the necessary services for family stability to secure permanent housing. Each family stays in their own private room with private bath, all necessities such as linens and toiletries are provided. Capacity of 41 families per night and 9 single women. Services include: counseling, social services case management, voluntary worship opportunities, licensed child care,drug and alcohol treatment,children's programs (after school tutoring, evening children's activities, summer camp for school aged children, summer work program for teens), adult basic education classes, nutrition/home economics classes, parenting classes, meals, and clothing assistance. Must meet with intake counselor for one hour and bring the following documents (if available). *Photo ID for applying adults *Social Security cards for all members of the family *Birth Certificates for children *Eviction Notice (if applicable) *Proof of Gov't Assistance (if applicable) |
